911 Free Fall

Debunking WTC “No Planer” Theories– Disinformation vs. Scientific Evidence

John-Michael Talboo joins Andy Steele to discuss disinformation, particularly the notion put out by a minority on the Internet that no airplanes hit the Twin Towers, and explains why logic and the facts don’t support this claim. They also share their own opinions on whether they believe this theory has been put out intentionally to distract newcomers to the issue and discredit the 9/11 Truth movement, and go over the actual evidence for controlled demolition that activists should be focusing on.

Building 7 Explained?

I was recently told about this video by someone on YouTube.

My thoughts:

0:35 "Steel loses half of its strength when heated to just 1200F."

True. But there is no evidence that the fires in WTC7 reached those sorts of temperatures. And scientists on both sides of the argument have shown that the fires could not have reached those temperatures anyway.

"[R]aising those five floor beams to a temperature of 600°C would require an enormous amount of energy, far more than was available from the burning of the office furnishings underneath the floor beams." -Kevin Ryan

"NIST's collapse initiation hypothesis requires that structural steel temperatures on floors 12/13 significantly exceeded 300°C [570°F]--a condition that could never have been realized with NIST's postulated 32 kg/m2 fuel loading." -Dr. Frank Greening

Also, the experiment shown is from the National Geographic documentary, which is addressed here and here.

1:11 "No water to fight the fires."

According to NIST, this apparently was not a "meaningful point of dissimilarity" to other skyscrapers that have been engulfed in fires.

“[I]n each of the other referenced buildings, the fires burned out several floors, even with available water and fire fighting activities (except for WTC 5). Thus, whether the fire fighters fought the WTC 7 fires or not is not a meaningful point of dissimilarity from the other cited fires.” -NIST WTC7 FAQ

1:29 "Firefighters knew the building would collapse."

Addressed here and here.

1:39 "NIST modeled the collapse, and the models are consistent with the videos."

Actually, NIST's models of WTC7’s internal failures are completely inconsistent with videos of the building’s collapse, as pointed out by Dr. Frank Greening.

"According to NIST, the global collapse of WTC 7 began 6.9 seconds after the East Penthouse collapse or about 23 seconds into the simulation. Now consider NIST’s Figures 12-66, 12-67 and 12-69 and in particular the images showing the alleged state of the core 17.5, 19.5, 20.7, 21.8, 24.1, 26.8 and 28.8 seconds into the collapse simulation. These images represent NIST’s view of what the core looked like at ~1-2 second intervals following the collapse of the East Penthouse. What is most significant about these images is that around the time of global collapse initiation NIST’s simulation shows that the eastern half of the core had completely collapsed while the western half of the core remained standing and relatively undamaged. This is quite remarkable since videos of the collapse of WTC 7 show that up to and well beyond the moment that the roofline of WTC 7 exhibited its first downward movement, the exterior of the building revealed absolutely no signs of NIST’s proposed partial collapse of the core even though the core was connected to the exterior walls of Building 7 by dozens of horizontal beams on every floor." [Source] pg. 315

2:11 "Conspiracy sites don't acknowledge the penthouse collapse."

Actually they do. Here's one site that examined it extensively.

2:18 "Free fall speed collapse."

The building DOES fall in complete free fall for eight stories.

2:34 "Steel can fail due to fire, like the collapse of a steel overpass."

Steel can certainly fail due to fire, but the issue is whether or not the fires were severe enough in Building 7 to cause collapse in the first place. And the collapse of the Interstate 580 is hardly comparable to the collapse of any of the WTC buildings.

3:06 "Building 7 is the only skyscraper to burn uncontrollably for seven hours."

As we have already seen, other buildings have burned uncontrollably as well, yet none of them have ever collapsed from fire.

The Reading Comprehension of Debunkers...

...never ceases to amaze me.

Youtuber "TheSkepticalIdealist" recently commented on my video "Demolition Expert Debunks the Debunkers" and tried to misrepresent the expertise of Tom Sullivan.

I pointed out to him that Sullivan's position at CDI was not just a photographer, but also a Powder Carrier. However, this wasn't good enough for this "skeptical idealist."

He linked me to the nyc.gov "study material for the certificate of fitness examination for powder carrier." Apparently, he either missed this part of the document or didn't understand what he was reading:
______________________________________________________
Storage

All explosives must be stored in magazines specially made for that purpose. A magazine must be approved and have a permit to store explosives. Magazines must be under the direct supervision of a magazine keeper holding a Certificate of Fitness. Magazines must be kept locked when explosives or blasting caps are inside. Only the Blaster, Powder Carrier and Magazine Keeper may have keys to the Magazines and accept delivery of explosives at the work site.
______________________________________________________

So, Tom Sullivan was in charge of the exact aspect of handling explosives that this "idealist" said he wasn't in charge of.

It astounds me that several debunkers seem to have trouble with simple reading these days. First Joseph Nobles misunderstood what David Griscom said about the Active Thermitic Material paper. Then Pat Curley of ScrewLooseChange couldn't be bothered to read a post from 2008 before accusing someone of lying. Is reading getting too difficult for debunkers?

Now, am I implying that all debunkers can't read just because they're debunkers? Absolutely not. I would never make that sort of judgment of debunkers as a whole, because I am not a debunker, just a "rebunker." :)

'Sigh'... Here we go again.

Youtuber jawsfreak97 has, once again, made another video trying to debunk the WTC squibs.

He posted this as a response to my squib video (and it looks like he may have used some footage from my video as well). On his channel, he's posted the following statement: "Im going to debunk every 9/11 myth out there"
And he apparently wants to keep that promise. He doesn't seem to care what I think, so I'll let an actual scientist take it from here.

Wikipedia renames 9/11 controlled demolition page to a "conspiracy theory"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Trade_Center_controlled_demolition_conspiracy_theories

It used to be called a hypothesis now its been downgraded to a conspiracy theory. Right around the release of the thermitic material paper aswell; which there was a debate about whether or not to mention.

hy·poth·e·sis (hī-pŏth'ĭ-sĭs) n. pl. hy·poth·e·ses (-sēz')
A tentative explanation for an observation, phenomenon, or scientific problem that can be tested by further investigation.

conspiracy theory n.
A theory seeking to explain a disputed case or matter as a plot by a secret group or alliance rather than an individual or isolated act.

By simply looking at the definitions it is clear that the proponents of the demolition theory are not proposing a "conspiracy theory", they are proposing a hypothesis. Steven Jones, Richard Gage and other technical 9/11 researchers have never directly pointed the finger at anyone. They simply criticise the official theories for the destruction the towers and look for alternative explanations. They are therefore not conspiracy theorists. Furthermore, everything about the official story of 9/11 fits the definition of a conspiracy theory.

Ever since the article was created in September of 2006, the theory has been referred to as a hypothesis. Now the new paper comes out PROVING there was a large quantity of explosive super-thermite in the towers and within a day, several biased editors, who are likely paid operatives, flood the talk page suggesting the page be renamed to a "conspiracy theory". The page was renamed hours later, despite opposition from fairer editors. They also attack the paper on the talk page, doubting the reliability of the journal and the peer review process.

Just because a journal isn't mainstream, doesn't mean it's not credible. Compared to the corrupted, agenda driven "investigations" of Propaganda Mechanics, the British Brainwashing Corporation and the Nanothermite Institute of Scumbags and Traitors, who have been exposed as frauds several times before, i'd say Bentham is pretty reliable. And, according to Stephen Jones, the peer review process on this paper was the most grueling peer review he's ever had.

Talk Page
In articles on fringe topics, we are not supposed represent the fringe theory as if it is a legitimate viewpoint or on some kind of equal footing. Instead, we're supposed to fairly represent all sides of an issue per reliable sources. If reliable sources reflect a particular viewpoint, then we're supposed to represent that viewpoint as well. In a case such as this article, I doubt if there are many (if any) reliable sources that claim the WTC was destroyed via controlled demolition. Even if there are any, weight should be roughly proportional to the preponderance of reliable sources backing that perspective.

As a result, there might be a WP:NPOV issue with this article. This article should treat this topic in the same manner as reliable sources do. Thus, if NIST, Popular Mechanics, the BBC, ABC News, Time Magazine, etc. regard the controlled demolition conspiracy theory as outlandish bunk unsupported by factual evidence, that that's how this article should be written. To do otherwise, is against WP:NPOV.

In other words, the viewpoints of reliable sources are the standard by which we write our articles and judge its neutrality.

- A Quest For Knowledge (talk) 18:39, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

So it seems Wikipedia's definition of neutral is NIST, Popular Mechanics and the BBC's definition of neutral - AKA selective and biased.

See:
David Ray Griffin - Let's Get Empirical
9/11 and the British Broadcasting Conspiracy
WTC7 and the British Brainwashing Conspiracy

It is clear that there is no possible explanation for the super-thermite in the World Trade Center dust that doesn't point towards inside involvement. Therefore instead of even attempting to explain or refute this evidence, Wikipedia has evidently gone for the ad-hominen attack, a technique used time and time again by 9/11 "Debunkers".

RIP Official 9/11 Story

So the red-chip paper is out, that proves that not only was there enough high-tech superthermite in the WTC towers to demolish them but there was some left over! No wonder some leaked out!

So either Osama Bin Laden had a high-tech weapons lab in his cave in Afghanistan and his Al-Qaeda elites happened to be controlled demolition experts with unrestricted access to three of the most secure buildings in America or the official story is a complete fraud.

I wonder what those reptiles at the Nanothermite Institute of Scumbags and Traitors are thinking right now...

I've uploaded a copy to rapidshare. Spread it around!

December 14, 2008

Professor Blair Gadsby returned to Senator McCain's office with another request to meet with the senator to discuss the evidence for controlled demolition of the Twin Towers and WTC 7. Members of Phoenix 9-11 Truth organized a street action outside the office in support of Blair's effort to reach Senator McCain.
