There was only one story by CBS News which rated higher than RT and it received the Grand Prix.

In September 2007, the Eurasian Academy of Television and Radio[7] awarded RT with the Prize for Professional Skillfulness.

In June 2007, the 11th "Save and Preserve" International Environmental Television Festival[8] awarded its Grand Prix to RT's Meeting with Nature series. There were 284 entries competing in 10 categories, including a work by German TV channel Deutsche Welle.

In September 2006, the 10th "Golden Tambourine" International Festival for Television programmes and films[9] awarded RT's documentary People of the Bering Strait in the Ethnography and Travel category.

And the article doesn't exactly "extol the virtues" of the film, while it does state in the headline that the film "reveals shocking facts," it does not claim that these facts mean 9/11 was an inside job. All in all it reports objectively on the premise of the film and the material contained within, using the phrases "the makers of the documentary claim," and "the film claims."

In essence the article does what the American media should be doing; reporting on the political reality of the 9/11 truth movement without relying on propagandist ad hominem attacks.

Another fine example of the foreign press doing the job of real journalism took place earlier this year when a 9/11 media breakthrough took place on Denmark television.



As an article by Bill Douglas, who is co-founder of the National911Visibility.org pointed out, the 9/11 truth movement has been exploding in the worldwide press, making it the U.S. media's dirty little secret.

And contrary to what Pat Curley would have you believe the Hard Evidence Down Under Tour that has just wrapped up is reported to have been an amazing success.

I was going to publish this blog at this point, but upon doing some more research I have switched my position. I'm sure this will come at the dismay of my readers, but I am now officially changing camps, sorry folks, I was wrong, 9/11 happened exactly as advertised.

The foreign press obviously just reports on the 9/11 twoof movement as it does because all of the world hates America. If only these top military leaders who question the official 9/11 story had not read articles in the foreign press! I bet this anti-American propaganda also caused those members of the 9/11 Commission who have decried their own report to turn to such kookery as well. The nearly 1,000 members of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth have certainly also been victimized by the likes of Russia Today. Good thing they don't have any structural engineers among their ranks, or I would really be worried for this great nation of ours. I could go on, but you get the point. The foreign press is a scourge that must be purged!

I hope and pray that you all can forgive me for leading you astray. I'm very ashamed of myself. A good American should never trust the foreign press or question their government. All this time I claimed to be the true patriot, but I was just a hypocrite.

According to the logic of this argument, if there are no 9/11 whistleblowers then 9/11 was not an inside job.

So what if there are 9/11 whistleblowers? What if these whistleblowers come from every level of government and private industry, individuals who have even had their cases vindicated by internal government reports? As you are about to see, there are numerous such whistleblowers and each one is a thorn in the side of those who want to pretend that the 9/11 Commission represents the sum total of knowledge on the 9/11 attacks. Whistleblowers are numerous, whether they be Bush administration officials, military officers, or FBI agents. The argument that people would have spoken out if 9/11 was an inside job, is fair - but ignores the fact that people have spoken out. And risked a lot in the process.

9/11 family member and "Jersey Girl" Patty Casazza has just revealed that whistleblowers told her that -- before 9/11 -- the government knew the exact day, the type of attack, and the targets.

Why is this important? Because, previously, some of the best-known whistleblowers have been willing to give only vague information about the government's foreknowledge. For example, they said only that the government knew of the general timeframe for the attacks, or that the government had a list of potential targets, on which the World Trade Center was one of many potential targets (of course, other whistleblowers have been more specific)...

Casazza further stated that these whistleblowers saw how Sibel Edmonds was being harrassed and gagged, and were fearful that the same thing would happen to them. So they approached the Jersey Girls to ask them to demand the 9/11 Commission subpoena the whistleblowers. The Jersey Girls tried to bring the whistleblowers before the 9/11 Commission, and the Commissioners agreed, but then never let the whistleblowers testify, let alone subpoena them.

Why is this important? Because defenders of the official government story have argued that 9/11 couldn't have been an inside job or else whistleblowers would have come forward. Ms. Cassaza confirms what many have said: there are a lot of 9/11 whistleblowers who are afraid to come forward -- especially without a supboena -- for fear of being attacked and harassed.

David Schippers the former Chief Investigative Counsel for the US House Judiciary Committee and head prosecutor responsible for conducting the impeachment against former president Bill Clinton. Schippers stated that at the behest of several FBI agents he had attempted multiple times to warn US Attorney John Ashcroft, along with other federal officials, of the impending attacks weeks before they occurred, only to be stalled and rebuffed in each attempt.

As summarized in the books The War on Freedom and The War on Truth by Nafeez Ahmed, who personally corresponded with Schippers, "According to Schippers, these agents knew, months before the 11th September attacks, the names of the hijackers, the targets of their attacks, the proposed dates, and the sources of their funding, along with other information."

How is it that none of the conspirators have changed their minds and come forward?

Operatives would be carefully screened to assure their loyalty to the attack's planners and to each other. New Film Fabled Enemies and the Cumulative Argument for 9/11 Complicity

Let us for the sake of argument concede a point. For a moment we shall imagine that WTC 7 was actually "the first known instance of fire causing the total collapse of a tall building," as we have recently been told by NIST's final report. While we are at, let's also forget the related issue of the Twin Towers' dramatic plunge to the earth that hurdled steel beams out laterally for hundreds of feet. No demolition there either, gravity was the cause of these ejections of course, that achieved the herculean feat of being lodged in neighboring buildings. Now that we've conceded these points, what are we left with? Well, according to the website oilempire.us we are left with the fact that demolition theories are NOT needed to prove complicity! We are left with the fact that the argument for government involvement in 9/11 is a cumulative one.

Maybe these demolition arguments really should be conceded though, after all, the Wikipedia article on the subject states that the "controlled demolition hypothesis has been dismissed in the structural engineering literature." Of course after this statement there is no mention of the growing list of structural engineers who have gone public with their doubts. Not to mention that as of this writing the "Notable proponents" section of the article fails to mention the 453 architectural and engineering professionals that are members of ae911truth.org. Also, despite various claims to the contrary, the 9/11 truth movement has had papers published that passed peer-review in independent journals, including publication in an established civil engineering journal. The mainstream journal The Environmentalist also published the paper "Environmental anomalies at the World Trade Center: evidence for energetic materials." But I forgot, these points are being conceded for arguments sake, not because they really should be, so I digress!

The reason I wish you to imagine a world where these arguments are dropped from the conversation, is because what is left is still a massive load of evidence for 9/11 government complicity, and not just the US government. The newly released film Fabled Enemies, by Loose Change producer Jason Bermas, shifts the focus from the physical anomalies of 9/11 to the volumes of evidence that fingers various intelligence networks for their participation in the attacks. While most "debunking" efforts focus on scientific evidence, some do try to take on the other aspects of evidence for government complicity, such as 911myths.com.
