Dennis Kucinich Needs Our Help!

Political suicide comes in many forms, and judging from the reactions of both major political parties in the US to the 9/11 truth movement, calling for a new investigation into the September 11th terror attacks seems to be viewed as sure of a death as a shotgun blast to the head.

Even outspoken politicians like Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich were initially hesitant to speak up on the subject. Leland Lehrman, who ran Dennis Kucinich's campaign for President in Santa Fe, NM. in 2003/2004 wrote an article on Rense.com in October 2007 that stated, "In 2004, Kucinich was wary of 9/11 inside job questions from his New Mexico campaign, saying he had no evidence to support such a thesis and acting worried that comments he made might be used against him later."

However, by 2007 Kucinich was calling for a full investigation. Perhaps the congressman had taken notice of the first scientific survey of Americans' belief in a 9/11 cover up conducted by Zogby International which found that over 70 Million voting age Americans support a new 9/11 investigation. Or maybe he noticed the results of a scientific poll conducted in 2006 by the The New York Times/CBS which found that 84% of the American people reject the official 9/11 Story.

Whether Kucinich heard the results of these polls or not, he was definitely hearing the concerned voices of the populace. In an 2007 interview conducted by Student Scholars for 9/11 Truth founder Justin Martell, Kucinich stated:

First of all, you have to understand that all over the country people are concerned about whether or not they've been told the truth about 9/11 and the way that the administration handled 9/11, taking us into a war against Iraq that had nothing to do with 9/11. It deepened people's suspicions about the possibility there may have been a cover-up. Because, why would the government lie about a cause for war? And so, what I'm saying is that I respect the concerns people have about whether they've been told the truth or not.
On Monday June 9, 2008 Kucinich presented 35 Articles of Impeachment against George W. Bush to the House of Representatives, including three concerning the events of 9/11.

Article XXXIII
Repeatedly Ignored and Failed to Respond to High Level Intelligence Warnings of Planned Terrorist Attacks in the US, Prior to 911.

Article XXXIV
Obstruction of the Investigation into the Attacks of September 11, 2001.

Article XXXV
Endangering the Health of 911 First Responders.
The last of the articles dealing with 9/11 concerned the fact that the White House ordered the EPA to lie about post-911 air quality. However, even this issue is taken on by the so-called 9/11 debunkers! But first responders, many of whom belong to the 9/11 truth movement, had voiced their concerns to Kucinich earlier in the year, after which Kucinich made their fight and his commitment to them public in a speech at the steps of the Capital Building in Washington.

John Feal is a 9/11 first responder, 9/11 truth advocate, and founder of his own 9/11 responders aid organization called the FealGood Foundation. In a video posted by the activist and 9/11 truth organization WeAreChange, Feal states, "When I think of America I think of Dennis Kucinich, a great elected official. He speaks the language of the American people, he does not get caught up in the political games."

While I agree that this is true, it did still take him being made aware of the issues of 9/11 health, and if it weren't for an outpouring of 9/11 truth supporters getting through to him we might have never heard him take the stances he has on the subject.

Most recently, on this past anniversary of the 9/11, Kucinich announced a proposal for a truth and reconciliation commission on 9/11 "which will have the power to compel testimony and gather official documents to reveal to the American people not only the underlying deception which has divided us, but in that process of truth seeking set our nation on a path of reconciliation."

However he made it clear that he could not do this without your help, in closing he stated, "I will call upon the American people to join me in supporting this effort. The truth can move us forward, as a unified whole, so that we can one day become a re-United States. 9/11 is the day the world changed. It is the day America embraced a metaphor of war. If we are open to truth and reconciliation, we may one day be able, once again, to embrace peace."

So are you open to truth and reconciliation? Let him know you support his efforts!

The Democrats have the numbers to make it happen, but you have to let them know that you want it; that you support the efforts of Congressman Kucinich!

There are also Republicans like Arizona State Senator Karen S. Johnson and Congressman Ron Paul that are calling for a new investigation, and even Sarah Palin said she supports a new 9/11 investigation... yeah you read that right... Sarah Palin. So contact The Republican party too!

After that, visit the PrisonPlanet.com Activist Center for tons of other ways to get in contact with media and elected representatives.

Barack Obama stated, "I will never forget who this victory truly belongs to – it belongs to you." So if it belongs to us then it is also up to us to urge him to really bring us the change that we need!

Political suicide is defined as, "The concept that a politician or political party would lose widespread support and confidence from the voting public by proposing actions that are seen as unfavourable or that might threaten the status quo."

It is up to us to take this stigma of away from our need for truth and justice in regard to the events of 9/11, and if PatriotsQuestion911.com is any indication we are doing OK. Now that we have efforts such as those proposed by Kucinich, and the NYC Ballot Initiative on the table, we must go that extra mile to see these things through to fruition. Remember it was yes we can, not yes he can, so no matter what your issue is, get to work!
