JFK was actually talking about current events of the cold war and how nontraditional enemies were gaining information on how the US was battling this war. In this speech JFK actually points out "the need for far greater "official" secrecy"...as well as "the need for a far greater public information". -- JFK admits "I have no easy answer to the dilemma that I have posed," but also states, "and would not seek to impose it if I had one." This a major difference from where todays elected officials stand.

Keep in mind that this speech (April 27th, 1961) was made a week after the failed Bay of Pigs invasion (April 17th-19th) and at a time when the US was assisting the South Vietnamese Government against Viet Cong insurgency actions.
The address is an appeal for responsible co-operation between the Press and the Government, that fair criticism is warranted while recognising a need to withhold information that can aid the Communists. He is helping re-enforce the message that despite the failure in Cuba, the US is still seriously engaged in the Cold War against the Soviets, that unconventional and non-military threats of many kinds abound.
JFK's appeal for an open, responsible and critical press is still a great message for the people of today, especially considering the War on Terror - a conflict that was started by the false flag attacks carried out on September 11, 2001.

The Real Deal

Oh the government controlled media are having a field day ain't they?
Out of the thousands of people who believe that we were fed a load of bull from the government in the official conspiracy theory of 9/11...There are three or four out of those thousands that have bi-polar disorders or anger issues from being screwed by the government.
(What are the odds)
Clutching at the straws of their fear, and showing how desperate they really are; some sold out to the government media people go after the 9/11 truth movement.
(However it seems that there are other media news people that have a different opinion than the ones who are demonizing the 9/11 Truth movement.)
For us Truthers to get demonized in this way makes me wonder if 9/11 Truth has deeper roots than we have speculated on.
For "them" to insinuate that we "Truthers" in whole, as a movement, are a danger to anyone, makes as much sense as me saying that since both of those who recently went over the edge in a violent manner were software techs, then all software techs are unstable and prone to violence.
It is clear that there are many sane software techs and a couple of over the edge software techs do not represent the majority of software techs. So if we follow this thought procession logically,... then a couple of people reacting in a over the edge manner (who believe that we have been lied to by our government in regards to 9/11 Truth,) do not represent the majority of Truthers.
Recently on this blog Scootle has spoken of sci-fi types of weaponry and has had to endure criticism from those over at ScrewLooseChange blog in regards to that statement.
I want to say here that it seems that our Congress believes that we or others on this planet have these types of weapons.
Congress had a bill some years back that addresses these type of weaponry in a list.
So it seems that Scootle is not on the fringe after all. Those over at the ScrewLooseChange blog appear to be completely uninformed about what our American Congress actually votes on as Bills.
Now for the CIA mind control experiments and the declassified CIA documents; go here.
So it seems that what a large number of people believe regarding these matters are way behind the actual reality of our technology in their knowledge.
They would probable know these kinds of things if they ever stopped focusing on Tiger Woods or some such trivial crap as important news, or took the time to actually research these matters instead of spending their time propagating antique, no longer true, false beliefs.
Now back to the crazy sold out to our government controlled media channels.
I leave you with these thoughts.
You can call Truth a lie or crazy till the universe ends and it will not change the Truth one bit.
Truth often causes people to rethink their world paradigm. This often is a very uncomfortable thing for people to do.
As Winston Churchill said:
"Men occasionally stumble on the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened."
Here are four quotes from Einstein regarding "the thinking?" of the majority:
"Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are even incapable of forming such opinions.
"He who joyfully marches to music in rank and file has already earned my contempt. He has been given a large brain by mistake, since for him the spinal cord would suffice."
"Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism - how passionately I hate them!"
"Nationalism is an infantile disease. It is the measles of mankind."
It is always comforting to me to remember that NOT being in the majority with my thinking is actually a good thing and places me in the company of those that were called crazy in their time, but whom we revere now as geniuses or simply people who were ahead of their times.
