Lil Vader — The Dark Side Has Bars

Somebody out there has apparently created a whole hip-hop persona called Lil Vader — yes, L-I-L Vader — and they're taking the mythology of Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader, the Dark Side, the fall from grace, and all the other themes surrounding one of Star Wars' most iconic characters and turning them into surprisingly serious-sounding hip-hop.
And this isn't just one joke track. From what we've found, there are already a handful of songs, and it looks like there may be an entire Lil Vader album in the works.
It's a pretty damn clever parody concept: take the tragedy, anger, ambition, betrayal, redemption, and dark-side mythology of Anakin/Vader and translate it into rap music as though Darth Vader had his own hip-hop alter ego.
Whether you're a Star Wars fan, a hip-hop fan, or just appreciate somebody taking a ridiculous idea and actually making it sound good, Lil Vader is worth checking out.
